Hybrid Acura Vehicles
Unfortunately, not many 2022 or 2023 Acura models are currently offered with a hybrid powertrain. One notable exception is the 2022 Acura NSX. This is the “supercar” of our lineup, and it surprises some people that a track-ready vehicle like this uses an electrified powertrain.
The Acura NSX uses a unique twin motor unit and a sport hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive® system. This gives the car extra torque when it needs it, making every drive and turn even more thrilling. We know this isn't what most people typically think of when they consider buying a hybrid model, but it's great to see that performance and green car tech can come together.
We also might be able to point you towards some hybrid vehicles on our pre-owned car lot. Some previous versions of our Acura models, including the Acura MDX and Acura RLX, were available as “Sport Hybrids” in some previous model years.
Future Electrified Models
You can be sure that more electric and hybrid Acura models are on the way. Our previous hybrid vehicles, and the Acura NSX especially, show that green Acura cars will have no problem staying true to the performance heritage of the brand.
