Transmission: Instead of a CVT, you'll get a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. You'll still get the most fuel-efficient Acura SUV yet, just with a better ride quality.
Horsepower: There's also more power than before thanks to the rest of the powertrain. It consists of a V-6 engine and three electric motors, for a net output of 321 net horsepower and 289 lb.-ft. of torque (31 horsepower and 22 lb.-ft. of torque more than the 2017 Acura MDX SH-AWD).
Instant Torque: Even better, the torque goes to the wheels with practically zero lag.
Active Dampers: These give you a more comfortable ride and smoother handling, and they're exclusive to the Acura MDX Hybrid.
There's More: Among the many other changes, you'll find an electric servo brake system, drive mode selection via a four-mode Integrated Dynamics System, and an interior specific to the Hybrid.
